Understanding Internal Audits and Their Importance in ISO Standards Implementation

Internal audits are a way of testing your current system against the requirements of a particular ISO standard. An internal audit is conducted when a standard, like an FSSC or ISO management system, has been fully developed and some degree of implementation has occurred

Why conduct Internal Audits Regularly?

Integrated ISO’s internal audit will determine your organization’s degree of compliance with the requirements of the standard. This ensures compliance with the specified standard. Regular internal audits are a prerequisite of the food-safety standard itself and can only be done by a qualified entity.

Integrated ISO conducts second-party internal audits on all standards within our scope. Our internal audits ensure that a system performs effectively and meets the required food-safety and respective quality objectives.

The Process of Pre-certification Readiness Audits

Part of Integrated ISO’s internal audit service offering is a pre-certification audit.

A Pre-Certification Audit is conducted as part of an ad-hoc service to companies needing assurance that their current system will pass the applicable certification/re-certification/surveillance audit. In many cases a final internal audit also comprises of a pre-certification Audit.
